Hi, WELCOME TO CIVICS!!! My name is Amanda Howell. I graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor's Degree in History and Education. I am currently working on my Master's Degree in American Studies. Students commonly ask, what is CIVICS? This course examines the rights, responsibilities, duties and privileges of being an American citizen. The course focuses on how the government works and examines the historical events that shaped our current political system.

This year students have an exciting opportunity to travel into our nation's past!!
